Inspired by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and having a shared Irish heritage, the American restaurant owners wanted to name their Irish pub in a way that would bring those two passions together. They chose to name their establishment the Irish Brigade after a group of Irish American soldiers in the American Civil War that was known for their courage, ferocity, and toughness in battle.
When the owners set out to create the city’s newest Irish pub, the aim was simple — offer a great selection of drinks paired with quality food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere filled with live music every night.
The Irish Brigade has many libations including a large selection of Irish whiskeys and over 20 beers on tap with several local Florida craft beers.
The Irish Brigade is Lake Worth’s best place to get dishes such as Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, and Fish N’ Chips — all made in-house. The Irish Brigade values authenticity, using Irish-owned businesses whenever possible.
The heart of the Brigade lies with music and providing a venue for patrons to listen to live musicians seven days a week featuring only the best artists southern Florida has to offer. The Irish Brigade hosts a wide array of talents from aspiring singers and songwriters to Grammy Award-winning artists.
With 27 large HGTV screens throughout, the Irish Brigade is the ideal place to watch your favorite sporting events. Enjoy the perfect pint of Guinness or kick back with a glass of wine on our outdoor patio and cheer on local teams. You can also watch big International Sports covering everything from 6 Nations Rugby to European Soccer Matches.
